At the age of 17, I put 3 London universities on my application form out of the 5 choices.  And it turned out to be one of the best decisions I’ve made in my life.  As a curious human being who loves to explore the world around, studying at a university in London means 3 years of visiting and discovering the unknown.

Yes hi there, I’m Ash!  Born and raised in Hong Kong, now studying Geography at a university in London.  As a geographer and explorer, I’ve always loved to discover new things: a new café around the corner, or maybe just casually walking around a neighbourhood that I’ve never been to.

In a city like London with all the cultural diversity, there are lots to see.  I’ve been travelling with my family as a toddler, and perhaps that’s why I love to explore different places and cultures.  Now that I’m on my own, I’m still living that travelling spirit!  Since I have more free time in uni now, I’ve been exploring the city that I live in, and also the rest of the UK.

Of course my journey doesn’t stop even when I go back to Hong Kong for holidays!  Apart from spending time with my family and friends, I keep exploring new places to visit in town, and that includes eating authentic cuisine and checking out the hippest things to do.

How did Delicacy of a Unicorn come about?  Well, I’ve been keeping a personal blog to myself, which I used as something like a personal diary.  But I decided to properly blog about my ‘new-Londoner’ experience in October 2014.  I just thought it would be nice to share my experience and perspective with the world!  Sharing is caring, innit? 🙂

So that’s me!  It would be great if you could follow me on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, so you’ll be updated instantly with my latest adventures!

With lots of love,
